General discussion » Season Champs » 10/28/2013 5:26 pm

Just wanted to drop a note to all the season champs this year! Way to go gang! I have had such a fantabulous year this year. It is a little bittersweet in that I missed the championship by A point. lol Also, some of you may know that it was my last year racing as well. Moving on to different things in my life and will not have time to play as much as I would like. I may still see ya at an event or two in the spring but that is not a certain. Susan Browell made this run to the championship very hard, that little PT is a pain in my butt.....haha....Tim Baker, not being mean here but i have never been happier to see you lose! Don Deering ( EL GORDO DIABLO )....thanks for making me laugh this year!! Mike Bearce, you are a fierce competitor and I enjoyed racing you as well this year. Sparky, keep your chin up and practice hard man...you can do it!!! Jerry Nevil, that dang hotel on wheels....man you are a tough one. Any rate, thank you all for a hell of a season and I'll see you at the banquet!!

P.S. Congrats from the deepest part of my heart goes to my buddy David Lancaster on winning the Electronics class. As most of you know that is where i used to play. That class this year has really stepped up in intensity. Bunch of fast buggies!

P.S.S Brent you did a hell of a job this year too!!!! as did your mom Kamie!!!

General discussion » Dallas Raceway Crandall.... what did you think? » 4/23/2013 5:49 pm

I enjoy going to crandall. The facility is very nice. Like chuck says, I also go back to the Hallsville days with the Halls. They always seem to be on top of it whenever we go to their track(s). It is a very convenient place to go and as far as replacing any tracks on the schedule my vote would be for Denton. For YEARS now the TMCCC has had issues there. But we dont really need to burn any bridges with any track I guess as they are always being threatened to go out of business. I would like to see a couple races at Crandall and maybe even one less at Ennis.

General discussion » Everyone needs to Pray for Ron Dillinger » 6/06/2011 6:41 pm

allrighty then....it is decided.. i agree with mike and stumpy. Make one of the races in the fall a race is his honor. The intention was to honor Ron.

General discussion » Everyone needs to Pray for Ron Dillinger » 6/06/2011 4:44 pm

now i am tore....while i applaud the post from steelhorse....i also agree with martha...could cause some issues. Why don't we ask the track if there would be a problem with it. There should be no problem with the number. you can put any number in the computer. Remember it is all about Ron!!! Lets do it

General discussion » Everyone needs to Pray for Ron Dillinger » 6/05/2011 8:40 pm

This is really kicking my butt. I loved Ron a lot. I know that me and him used to josh around all the time but, I just can't believe that he won't be around anymore to lead the council. I saw Ron earlier this year and we just cut up and carried on like always. I pray for Charlene to have the strength to carry on without the big lug. I will find away to make it to the services!!

Club information » The Hillbilly Hotrods » 2/07/2010 8:20 am

Howdy! My name is Jeff Thompson, who along with my father Leo decided to start our own club back in the 90's. We have been a pain in everybodies side since then. We enjoy racing with the TMCCC and have won the championship both Big club and Little club multiple times. Feel free to check out our website at www.thehillbillyhotrods.com We would love to have your input. Our little group of hooligans is compromised of all brands and flavors of hot rods. We have Bentleys and Drop top Benses along with the good old Chevy's and Ford's heck we even had a Dodge or two. Our premise is very simple. We do not charge our members club dues because we feel that if you have a hot rod then you have paid enough dues already. Some clubs frown on that and look at us and say that we are not a real club but, to those I say yes we are. We have some of the fiercest competitors in our club. We also like to stir it up a little and tease and pick on some of the other clubs. If you feel that we are a good fit for you and you would like to join us or you just want to talk a little smack feel free to contact myself or my father. My personal email is doorslammer440p@aol.com. Look forward to hearing from you and see you at the Track!!!
