My prayers go out to the Cryers over the loss of their Dad at the track today. As Mark told me, at least he went doing something he loved.

We saw as a lot of people did yesterday your Dad being attended to by the paramedics and being taken away to the hospital. So so sorry for your loss even though I don't personally know you or your Dad, I feel your loss. God Bless.

Mark, Randy,Cryer and family..
I extend my deepest consonances and prayers.
I got there when the Medic was first working on him.
Couldn't really tell who it was until Mark stood over him
and said "Dad.. "
That pretty much broke my heart and I had to turn a walk away for a bit.
Keep in mind hHe spent his last hours enjoying time with you and his TMCCC family
doing what they loved to do. Not a bad to to pass if you ask me.
May he rest in peace
God rest his soul.
Mark if you guys need anything don't hesitate to give me a call.

Thank you for everyones kind words, thoughts, and prayers through this difficult time, from the Cryer Family. This is Marks daughter posting this for him to say thank you..This means alot to our family and is greatly appreciated..My Grandfather was an amazing man, whom we loved dearly, he loved his family and watching his sons, grandson and nephew race on sundays. He definintly was doing something he enjoyed, and would not have had it any other way. This world will be a different place without him, but we were the lucky ones who were honored to have him in our lives as part of our family. Thank you again, your kind words mean so much.
For anyone that would like to attend the funeral services, they are being held

This is hard for me it hits so close to home! Mr (Pops) Cryer and my dad (Pops) were a lot a like they both loved cars and drag racing! What ever i did my dad would back me a 100% just like Mr Cryer backed Mark and Randy, and when it came to racing they want you to be the best and give it your all. Pops Cryer loved seeing me and that black Nova show up on race day and allways greated me with a smile ( in it to win it) and it made me feel like a part of my dad was there watching me. Sunday my car was broke and i was not able to be there and did not get to see Pops not knowing i wouldnt see him again that hurts! So like my dad i will remember Pop for the way he was, and do what he like to see the most take that BLACK NOVA BliSTER THE STARTING LINE AND GIVE IT A 100% because Mark and Randy your Pop is watching and so is mine! He will be remembered and dearly missed!! Luke&Carmen Manning
