All classes should be run in the 1/8th mile even on the 1/4 mile tracks.  The 1/4 mile just too hard on some of the faster street cars and just too looooooonnnnnngggggg.......

Re: ALL CLASSES RUN ONLY 1/8th MILES!!

Well thank you stumpy, but the 1/4 can be harder on street car.  I'll take the word of the guys who have been racing for 40+ years.  Again thank you.

Wonderjet16, I do the best I can with the knowledge of have obtained from Kent, which has helped me alot especially at the end of the track and what to do.  Yes I'll be there Sunday, the track is only 20 mins from the house.  Never was the transmission, I'll tell ya Sunday.  I personally do not like the 1/4 mile.  See y'all!

Re: ALL CLASSES RUN ONLY 1/8th MILES!!

Lisa, I started racing in 1963 so I guess you could say I do have a tiny bit of experience. Including a few years with professional teams.  If a car is geared for the 1/4 it isn't any harder on it then running the 1/8th.
