It would be a good idea for racers to look at the tracks rules for tech info. Some tracks are a little different on some things, and it would be a shame to get thrown out for something. The best example is helmets. Most 1/8 mile tracks require them at 8.59 and faster. I noticed last year there were a few infractions of this rule, some slight, some obvious. I'm sure there were plenty of cars this off-season "stepped up" a little, and need cages, ect, now. Some of this is just a lack of info, it should be given to eveyone that signs up for points to avoid any problems.

There wasn't a problem with knowing what to do, the power was knocked out and the main timing computer was damaged. There would have also been so much mud making it's way to the starting line, it wouldn't have been pretty. I think I can make the Nov 7th race!
