Big Dog #3 - - Electronics.

Race at I-30 Dragway October 23rd, 2022  will be Four  (4) POINTS - First Round,
Be there to Support your Team Mates, and the TMCCC !  

SARAH VEDRINE has served as Secretary, Vice President, and soon to be President of TMCCC.  She has served TMCCC through several Presidents, and has done an amazing job, way over and above, totally committed to the success of the TMCCC - but that is who Sarah is.  She is young, Vibrant, and for sure a doer.  She is awesome and she will be a great President.

Now it is time for someone equally as committed to the success of the TMCCC to serve. 
We are taking suggestions from TMCCC members for that special person to serve as Vice President. If You, or have someone You would recommend, please let us know. We would like to have that individual in place and being informed prior to our Banquet in November.

                  Over night stay is permitted for this race.
Race # 8   October 2nd, 2022 Sunday Day Race, I-30 Dragway, Caddo Mills, Tx  gates open 9am

                  The TMCCC Board has determined that this race will be considered an out of town race
                  Each Racer who takes the Tree in first round of Eliminations will receive Four Points (4),
                  Instead of the usual One Point (1). Teams should make sure all of their member  be present to                      take full advantage of these extra points.

Feb 27th Race at Xtreme Raceway Park CANCELLED due to weather

We've had a really good 2021 year of racing - had some rain outs, but we were able to reschedule and get all ten races done.  We had good turnouts this year - even with all the options people have for entertainment in today's world.
We certainly appreciate our participants for coming out and supporting the TMCCC, and helping us keep this one of a  kind program going and growing.  
We have had quite a few new participants join us this year, and we've had several make the decision to come back from other race programs to again enjoy what the TMCCC has to offer.
We will have our annual Awards Banquet on Saturday November 20th at Texas Star Golf Banquet Hall - we invite anyone who races with us to come and join in. In addition to awards there will be many door prizes available to pick from.  Your tickets to the Banquet will include a "3" Meat BBQ Buffet with fixings, and enter you in the door prize drawings. Plus if you choose to have a special beverage, there will be a cash bar for you to do so.   See yáll there !!

Gates will open at 8:am, If you paid your car/driver and spectator entry on Sept 5th rained out race - bring your arm band and show at gate - that is your entry for Race #1 on Sept 26th.  You then pay for car/driver & spectator for Race #2.

If you did not pay on Sept 5th -  you must pay at the pit gate for both Race #1 and Race # 2 - car/driver and spectator  for Sept 26th races. 

Two Time Trials starting 9:am or sooner - 

Race # 1 starts as soon as two time trials are completed. 

Race # 2 will start immediately after race one is completed  (no additional time trials) this in order for us to get both races in on that day.

Double Header Race at I-30 Dragway in Caddo Mills is scheduled
Saturday Race Sept 4th gates open 3pm - Time trials approx 4pm Racing following 30 minute crew break.
Tech Cards $ 30. Spectators $ 15. under 12 free..

Racers may leave their rigs overnight, may stay at track overnight.

Sunday Race Sept 5th gates open 8am - time trials approx 9am Racing following 30 minute crew break.
Tech Cards $ 30. Spectators $ 15. under 12 free.

Both days of our races are supposed to be TMCCC stand alone events just with TMCCC -

Therefore -We hope that all of our racers and their spectators will put this on their calendar, and attend - as we want the best showing that we can possibly have, so that I-30 Dragway will ask us back for years to come.

Wednesday June 2nd 9:00pm - - -  Gals & Guys - we always want to make the right call concerning any of our races. In the past few months our weather has been unfortunately unpredictable from day to day - and it is seeming to continue.  Big Country in Abilene has been a good race for us through the years, and Sterling likes having us race there. We want to be fair to our racers, and we want to be fair to Sterling & Big Country Raceway. 
Weather service for Abilene on Saturday and Sunday is predicting the possibility of 20 - 30% random showers in the area. We have raced there in the past with similar weather prediction, and it did come a short period of showers, but then moved on out - they dried the track, prepped it, and we completed our race. 
I know we must make a call one way or the other - and I know we have some racers planning to go there for Saturday evening test & tune, and it's a 3 - 4 hour drive to the track.
We need to see what weather prediction is for Abilene on Saturday morning. Therefore - between 10:am and 11:am on Saturday morning we will post a decision here and on the TMCCC website whether we will be racing, or not racing !
