Final results have been posted. Club totals were very close.

It would be nice if there was an official post by a TMCCC official that the season is over. All the info so far is all word of mouth thru someone else but no where on these forums is there an official post. It may seem like a small thing but I believe, for one, that we deserve that much given all the confusion and lack of info at the track last Sunday. Secondly, I don't typically put a lot of stock in hearing things thru someone else that heard it from someone. Lastly, it would just be nice and courteous to hear a word about last Sunday and the end of the season.

I'd think that the fact that the bonus points have been awarded and the banquet is next weekend would pretty much indicate the season is over. But that's just a guess. I would also think that the big Dog would be settled at the first race next season. But again that's just a guess considering it's just an award and pay off rather than a points thing.

Well yeah but as you say, it's just a guess. I don't hold much stock in assuming anything. And we have a president and vice president and here we are almost a week since Ennis and not a word about anything.

While sitting in the basically empty parking lot at Ennis, drinking coffee and eating donuts, we were told by Phillip the race was canceled and the season was over. So I took that as an official announcement. There were a few clubs still represented there so the word should have been spread.

It should have been announced on line that day so people would know immediately that it was the end of the race season.

Ok if you want to keep playing these games how about this. I was in the parking lot from the time it opened until just after you arrived eating donuts and talking. At no time while I was there did Phillip say anything about it. Further, unless one was there when this conversation took place then one wouldn't know would one? Also there were very few there even when I was there and even fewer when I left. Given the size of this organization it is important to make things clear to everyone what is going on thru the best possible medium which is not what someone heard in a parking lot. To this day I am still hearing people saying they heard this or that about what's going on. Do you think that possibly it might be the best thing to do and make an official post? Which could have been done without all of this nonsensical back and forth BS.

Should have been kind of obvious when no make up date was announced and the final points were posted. But I'm sure that if you emailed the president, instead of posting here, he would be glad to post it for you. He is easy to get along with.

Communication is the only thing that we need here. Hopefully the board will learn from this.

The board needs to hear from you guys. You need to communicate with them directly rather than posting here. They would respond quicker and know that there is a problem.

I can't speak for the board as to whether or not they read the posts here but I do. I am just another member of TMCCC that pays attention to what goes on. I have been a member since 1999 so I just speak from the experience I have with the series. But as I have said before I have no more influence than the rest of you. Other than that I would suggest you converse directly with the board or the representative of your club to make sure they know what your concerns are because they don't seem to appear here much. Every once in a while when I see a problem here I try to alert the higher ups about it but you all could do the same. Club reps and board members have their contact info listed.
