Noticed the points have been updated and some have bonus points and some do not. I should have 5 for only missing one race, and 5 for winning more than once this season, but I do not have any bonus points. Maybe rookies are not eligable for bonus points, idk???

Let me try to explain how some of it works. First off you have to make Sunday before you get those 5 points. If you look all the people with the extra 5 points have not missed anything yet so if they miss Sunday they still have the bonus points. As for the extra points for more that 2 wins in the year I don't know anything about that because I have never been there. By the way Brandon you are no rookie when it comes to racing. When are you going to get that car running that you were talking about when you first started? You will probably be a killer in that car. if I am not mistaken, the 5 Bonus Points for winning more than 1 face is not in effect anymore. I am not positive but if I remember correctly, that is what I have been told in the past. Also you will notice it says 8 of 9 races but we originally had 10 races scheduled this year. This area needs to be updated but has been like this for a while.

I hear ya. Mark did say something about bonus points for winning more than once in a season will be awarded but idk. Like I said I am still a rookie at this tmccc stuff and just trying to find out. See ya sunday.

The rules say if you win more than one race you get 5 extra points.

Not sure where Stumpy got the link for the rules in the above post but they differ from the published rules currently
on this website under "Rules".
Under the Driver Rewards Program section there is a subtitle How to accumulate points for my Club and me.
In that section it states "A racer who races in nine out of ten races receives five bonus points. These are the
only bonus points available"
At one of the Challenge Board meetings we voted to do away with the "extra points for winning more than once"
rule-I cannot remember just when that was-sometime in the last year or two. (Prior to this year's season I know
as the current rules copy I carry with me in my racecar were printed on 2/27/12 and they match what is currently
showing on this website.)

Stumpy got the info from the Driver Rewards area on the website. That is where I was saying that section needs to be updated.

Well Dan I think the board needs to be updated because if you read what it says in the Driver Reward Program 2008 on what is on the web site. It says Revised 01/21/2011. The rules that you are speaking of are in the Muscle Car Club Challenge Rules not in the "Drivers Reward" Program that every one reads. These rules need to be posted a little better for all us old folks and the new young folks like Brandon. It took me a while of reading with Shelly before we saw it. I have no problem with it but we need to get the board updated. Have a good day.

Stumpy. If you go to the bottom of the rules on the website it states they are as revised and adopted on July 18, 2011

You are right Stumpy no where does it say in the rules 02/27/2012 like Dan says. mbearce you are correct but that still does not explain the 02/27/2012 that Dan is giving out. This throws people off we need to get it corrected.

Ok, that was the day they printed them not the day they were posted. It doesn't look like there was any rule update posted for this year. Someone needs to step up next year and make sure the new rules get posted.

I took a look at the Driver reward section and definately see where you guys are coming from as it definately contradicts the "Rules" section. We will have to get Mike to make the change so they have the same info. I
did go back and look at my meeting notes: "on 12/14/08 with 11 board members present a motion was made to discontinue 5 points for winning a class twice. Motion was passed-unanimous decision"
