I believe this is the closest I have ever witnessed the top points leaders in Electronics to only be one point apart at this time of the season.  I think this is pretty awesome - and the guys all need to be applauded for such a good showing this season.  Wish the best of luck to all, it's gonna be a fun next few races !!

My heart goes out to Chad Broom - His Red Vega is banged up pretty bad, and won't be a quick fix.  But, we are more concerned for Chad - he was really banged around inside the car - We pray his injuries are just surface, but sure hope he will get them checked out to be sure.  We are praying you will be able to return to what you love, and what you are really good at, our friend.

Well for the first time in 2015 - my Dart Sport Drag Car is finally working like it is supposed to - During the summer break I had some changes made to the car by a friend, Tony Malone. And those changes have been awesome. It has taken me three events to adjust myself to those changes, but the car is back to the consistency I can depend on. Went three rounds a month ago, went three rounds last weekend at Denton TMCCC event, and today went four rounds to the semi finals at the Texas Motorplex TMCCC event - Gary P. Mitchell put me in the trailer in the Semi's, after I was caught taking a full bulb nap at the launch. Congrats to Gary P. for going on to win the event. Much deserved Gary P. See all my friends in two weeks at the Texas Raceway TMCCC event. I will be getting my naps all worked out by then, I promise !!

The Big Dog race will be two separate races

1. Electronics - consisting of all Electronics class Winners from the current season racing to determine who the Big Dog Champion is for the current season.

2. All other classes are Foot Brake - therefore all class Winners from those classes in the current season race to determine the Big Dog Champion for the current season.

The two Big Dog races are run at the last race of the season, after the completion of that race.

Only three more races to go - it's gonna be fun !!!

Wanted to say thanks to all the guys and girls who helped me with the Dart Sunday. Thanks to Robbie Broom for coming back with his four wheeler to pull me to the pits. There were a bunch of you there helping get the Dart on the trailer. I appreciate each and all of you -  It appears the issue is with the Roller Rockers - No bent pursh rods, no lifters thrown out thankfully.  Looks like a mounting stud pulled the threads out of the aluminum head and let the rocker arm shaft lift - letting two push rods escape from their duty location.  Ordered some pieces to get it fixed, hope to get it back together this saturday.  Thanks again, hope to see all of you in two weeks at  Kennedale.

Bill Boon.

Could not have said that better Bill Glover - thanks to people such as yourself, the TMCCC series has continued to thrive.  The types and quality of cars that our participants bring, speaks volumes. The fellowship is great.

Was hoping your friend Tracy Smith was going to be able to get his Challenger out yesterday.  I guess he wasn't pleased with the tuneup yet.  Tracy is a really nice guy and that car is gonna be awesome.

See ya at the banquet.

Thanks for the compliment, I really do appreciate it.  For sure I didn't break the rear end this year, in fact my car has been really reliable this year. Just the driver has been making some errors and causing some things to happen that shouldn't.  At Ardmore in first round I got the air pressure in the rear tires unequal and when the car launched it was hunting the center line, so lifted to save it.  Then at Redline, in first round, before pre-staging, I shifted to neutral, cleared the carb out, then pulled it back in 1st - but I must have pulled it a little too far.  Car launched good and straight, got out on Mr. Gary P. Mitchell, but when the shift to 2nd was made, it actually went right on by 2nd straight to 3rd. Makes me want to fire the dummy driver.  See ya next Sunday.
